This contract is requesting the procurement of single-use duodenoscopes for ERCP procedures. The duodenoscopes should have a shelf-life of at least 18 months and maintain chain of custody for all clean/sterile equipment. The scopes should not require reprocessing time or pre-treatment timeframe. The target patient population includes contact-hazard patients or emergency overnight patient populations at the West Roxbury location. The vendor will be responsible for the initial installation of the unit and staff education. Ongoing ordering or replenishment of single-use duodenoscopes will be needed as supply levels are used.

SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT Decrease infection rates on patients and to increase the capability of weekend/night coverage. Single-use duodenoscopes for ERCP procedures. All products of disposable duodenoscopes should have shelf-life of at least 18 months at time of delivery and maintain chain of custody for all clean/sterile equipment or similar method to determine package integrity. No reprocessing time and no pre-treatment timeframe needed on disposable scopes. Target patient population are contact-hazard patients or emergency overnight patient populations. Will be needed for West Roxbury location and will be limited to patients considered high risk. Initial installation of unit will need to be completed by vendor. All new items will need to be associated with staff education and familiarization period with visits from vendor to answer questions during familiarization period.
