Details

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13. The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support for the replenishment of emergency food and water rations which, for the Librarys Shelter-in-Place (SIP) Kits. The Kits, managed and positioned throughout the Library by the Security and Emergency Preparedness Directorate (SEPD), are designed to support the safety and survival needs of up to 20 persons for approximately 12 hours. Situations when the shelters may be activated and survival supplies used may include severe weather, hazardous material incidents, terrorist threats or attacks, or other circumstances requiring extended sheltering. Questions are due no later than September 01, 2023 at 12:00PM EST. Quotes are due on September 06, 2023 at 12:00PM EST.
