The following questions were received in response to solicitation 36C24223Q1017. Amendment 36C24223Q1017-0001 was posted with the purpose of extending the original solicitation from 08/22/2023 to 08/29/2023, while awaiting the using facilitys response to vendor questions. The answers (A:) received from the using facility are posted below each question. Q: Are the fire alarm devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations etc. to be tested as well? If other fire alarm devices are to be tested, can you provide a device type and quantity? A: According to the using facility, their Fire Department Staff conducts all testing to the systems and associated devices. Q: When emergency or routine is requested will there be a PO issued to cover the service call? A: According to the using facility, up to 12 emergency responses shall be included in the bid. Any repairs not covered under the contract shall be quoted to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and shall not commence until a contract modification has been administered to cover the cost of the repair service. Q: Is there an estimated number of service calls annually? A: According to the using facility, there is an estimated number of 12 annual service calls. Q: Can you provide a copy of the inspection reports? A: Please see attachments provided by the using facility. Q: Can you provide the quantity of batteries and battery AH Sizes? A: Please see the battery locations & counts attachment provided by the using facility. Q: Are NICET Certifications acceptable to include within our proposal? A: According to the using facility for this service, as long as you possess the NFPA 72 certification then you can submit any additional certifications that you may have. Q: Do you have any old inspection reports that show the device quantities for the fire alarm field devices? A: Please see attachments provided by the using facility. Q: Will a site visit be allowed? A: Yes, a site visit will be allowed. Q: Will there be a sign in sheet? A: Yes.
