This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Integrated Healthcare, Syracuse VAMC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), brand name only, sole source action. Name of Contractor: AuroStar Corporation Street Address: 46560 Fremont Blvd, Unit-201 City, State, Zip: Fremont, CA 94538 GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Gift Cards for Center for Integrated Healthcare/Syracuse VA Medical Center (528) Research and Education Type of Contract Contemplated: Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement SCOPE The Center for Integrated Healthcare is requesting a Blanket Purchase Agreement to be able to obtain Gift Cards which will be given as participant incentives in VA Office of Rural Health grants as well as some other research funding. The initial contract will be for $32445, which will (based on quote) purchase 9 groups of 50 $20 Target gift cards, 12 groups of 50 $20 Amazon gift cards, and 21 groups of 50 $10 Target gift cards. We estimate needing the gift cards by 2023. Additional Gift Cards will be needed as funding is approved for future Research and Education projects. The types of Gift Cards for Amazon and Target are a mandatory requirement as our surveys has suggested that these retailers are the most beneficial to the Veterans that we are trying to incentive to participate in our projects.
