36C24923Q0527 Indoor Lighting Survey-Robley Rex VAMC Government Response Was attendance at the site visit mandatory to provide a bid on this project opportunity? Government Response- Site visit is not mandatory to submit quote by deadline. In the RFQ, Section E.7, there is a Buy American Certificate provision (FAR 42.225-1) and Buy American Free Trade Agreements Israeli Trade Act Compliance provision (52.225-3) are both detailed. For the (3) cases of Type B lamps that will need to be provided under this contract, do they need to meet BAA or TAA requirements? Government Response- This is a service procurement. However, any supply items can not follow the trade agreement as this is an acquisition set aside for Small Business. Therefore, as this requirement is set aside for SDVOSB any supplies must be covered under the Buy American Act. I realize the date/time for questions have passed, however, if you could address a bid/administrative question I do not see a requirement for a bid bond or payment/performance bonds, will neither be required? Government Response- This requirement does not require a bid bond or payment/performance bond. END OF AMENDMENT 0002
