The Embassy of the United States of America in Quito, Ecuador is seeking a contractor to provide plants, materials, and labor services for landscape improvement at a residence in Quito. The Embassy of the United States of America in Quito, Ecuador requires to contract the provision of plants, materials, and labor services for Landscape Improvement at a residence located in Quito. Solicitation External Reference: All bidders are invited to submit a quotation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, bidders are required to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) at the time a quotation is submitted. The DBA Insurance must be quoted as a separate line item. The DBA insurance may be obtained from any authorized DBA insurance broker, see Sub-Section I.12, FAR 52.228-3 WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE (DEFENSE BASE ACT) (APR 1984). New DBA insurances policies can be purchased directly from any DOL (Department of Labor) approved insurance carrier. A list of DOL approved carriers may be found at http://www.dol.gov/owcp/dlhwc/lscarrier.htm The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference and site visit on July 14, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., at the residence, located at Av. Orellana E12-378 e Isabel la Catlica. Offerors planning to attend the site visit must submit the Name, Phone number, Organization/Company, ID or Passport No. and nationality, of their companys representatives to QuitoProcurement@state.gov; no later than 5:00 p.m., local time, on July 12, 2023. This information must be provided to ensure access to the site. No substitutes or additional persons may attend the site visit. Attendees are requested to carry copy of the Request for Quotations and their Photo ID along with them. Attendance is limited to two persons per company.
