Linguistic/Translation and Interpretation Services for Naval Criminal Investigative Service

The US Navy is seeking linguistic/translation and interpretation services in Balouch (Balochi) and Urdu languages to support the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Middle East Field Office (MEFO), Transnational Crimes Unit (TCU) in their Area of Responsibility (AOR). The contractor will provide law enforcement investigative and operational support for maritime security operations and the facilitation of maritime interdictions of vessels trafficking illicit cargo. The requirements and deliverables for this contract include:

• - Category 2 certified, U.S. citizen personnel with a Secret clearance
• - Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type of contract
• - Base period of twelve (12) months with one (1) twelve-month option period
• - Contractor responsible for all costs including housing and Defense Base Act insurance
• - Entry in the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT)
• - Procurement processed pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR 13.5
• - NAICS Code: 541930, small business size standard: $22.5M
• - Solicitation to be released electronically on Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) and SAM websites
• - Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database
• - Closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation
