The U.S. Department of State (DOS) is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide Local Guard Services to support the U.S. Mission in Amman, Jordan. The Contractor will be responsible for creating a secure environment to conduct the mission, preventing loss or injury to U.S. personnel and property, deterring potential terrorist attacks, and ensuring unauthorized access is prevented. The anticipated period of performance is one base year and four one-year options. All contracted personnel will be required to pass background investigations. The contract will be awarded to the best technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price.

Solicitation has been amended. See attachment titled "19AQMM23R0001 A004" for more detail. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has a requirement for aqualified Contractor to provide Local Guard Services to support the U.S.Mission in Amman, Jordan. The Government requires a secureenvironment to conduct their mission. The Contractor shall provide the organizational structure, management, and qualified staff at levelsadequate to meet or exceed the requirement contained in the PerformanceWork Statement. The Contractor shall be required to provide services in a manner that prevent loss or injury to U.S. personnel, dependents, property; destruction of assets; to prevent unauthorized access; and deter potentialterrorist attacks. Anticipated period of performance is one base year andfour one year options(to be exercised at the sole discretion of thegovernment). All contracted personnel, regardless of nationality, will be required topass a background investigation conducted by the Contractor and aseparate background investigation conducted by the U.S. Government tocertify their suitability for employment under this contract. Offerors shall have an active registration on the System forAward Management at beta.sam.gov. Offerors shall ensure that the pointof contact (POC) on the Restricted Access Request(RAR) form provides his/herfull name, including first, middle (if applicable), and last name. The POCsfull name shall be identical to the full name in the beta.sam.gov database. A RAR form from your company representative is required to obtain access to the solicitation and attachments. RAR forms should be sent to Nicholas Cloutier at CloutierNS@state.gov In accordance with 22 U.S.C. 4864, the Government will give preferenceto offerors qualifying as U.S. persons or U.S. Joint Venture Persons.
