VAMC CT has need of some Stille tables. Objective This document highlights the technical specifications and services being requested by the Connecticut VAMC for consideration towards the purchase for the Stille Vascular Table. Project Management / Equipment Implementation Product delivery will be the responsibility of the Vendors working with the Connecticut VAMC project management POC, the Vendor will be responsible for coordinating and performing the delivery, implementation, and training for the devices. Background/Justifications The CARDIOHELP System is the world s smallest portable heart-lung support system designed to treat and to transport patients needing extended respiratory and/or circulatory support. It is ideal for use in intensive care units, cardiac catheter laboratories, operating rooms and emergency rooms. Limitations imposed by the Operating room : The Stille vascular table is beneficial when 2 cases are going simultaneously, this specialty table would be invaluable to function , with ability for the operating surgeon to control the movement of the table during our angiograms. And a minimization of radiation exposure to patient and intraoperative personnel along with better compatibility with radiation safety equipment The Catheter table extension could potentially negate the need for the extended table we are currently using, therefore giving us more room at the foot of the bed. The fistula arm board is made specifically for this bed, attaches directly to the carbon fiber base, would be used for fistulagrams and brachial access, and would negate us needing to utilize the current arm board with 3 foam pads each time. (Considerate to the environment).
