Pre-Solicitation Notice: Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for, Renovate Bldg. 71 for Mental Health, Project No. 549-22-231, Dallas VAMC, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, Texas 75216. The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated issue date of October 10, 2023. and a projected bid due date of November 9, 2023. 36C25724B0012 Project consists of; but is not limited to; Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tooling, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform all requirements of the resulting contract. This project includes but is not limited to; Site investigation, civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, grading, excavation, layout planning, and construction to convert 12,000+ sq ft in sections in Building 71 for Veteran Service Organizations (VSO). The building will be occupied therefore the project shall be done in phasing. The flat roof on a portion of the building will be replaced with a pitched roof. All work shall be completed as specified per the Scope of Work, Specifications and Drawings, for Renovate Bldg. 71 for Mental Health at the Dallas VA Healthcare System, located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216. Project duration shall be 270 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) as stated below. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAISC) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a standard size of $45 Mil.
