The Naval Research Laboratory is seeking potential sources to research, design, develop, integrate, test, and install various technologies and systems related to cyber security. The objective of this contract is to develop prototypes for code vulnerability analysis and information assurance technology, high assurance cryptographic technologies, airborne and space-borne sensor and communications systems, wireless sensor and communications systems, unmanned vehicle and test platforms, toolsets and specialized security capabilities for distributed architectures, high assurance hardware, software, networks, and diagnostic equipment, and new types of security protocols and algorithms for information systems. The contractor will be required to provide the following:
- - Prototypes for code vulnerability analysis and information assurance technology
- - High assurance cryptographic technologies and high assurance enabling technologies
- - Airborne and space-borne sensor and communications systems, various wireless sensor and communications systems, and unmanned vehicle and test platforms
- - Toolsets and specialized security capabilities appropriate for distributed architectures
- - High assurance hardware, software, networks, and diagnostic equipment
- - New types of security protocols and algorithms and their analysis for security and performance in information systems

The place of performance will be both onsite at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, DC and offsite locations. OBJECTIVE The Naval Research Laboratory is searching for potential sources that are capable of meeting the following requirement: Research, design, development, integration, testing, and installation of: Prototypes for code vulnerability analysis and information assurance technology that addresses cyber security threats High assurance cryptographic technologies and high assurance enabling technologies Airborne and space-borne sensor and communications systems, various wireless sensor and communications systems, and unmanned vehicle and test platforms Toolsets and specialized security capabilities appropriate for distributed architectures High assurance hardware, software, networks, and diagnostic equipment New types of security protocols and algorithms and their analysis for security and performance in information systems Additional details for this requirement are attached in the draft statement of work (SOW) and Additional Requirement Details below. CONTRACTOR RESPONSE FORMAT The NRL asks that interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information via email: Contact/Business Information a) Name of Company and Point of Contact (POC) b) Business Size/Socioeconomic Categories and number of employees c) Does your firm have a current facility clearance?
